GHNZ (Ghost Hunters New Zealand) was founded by Dave Clipsom in 2006 & Ghost Hunt was founded back in early 2005. GHNZ carry out paranormal investigations where hauntings or any paranormal activity has been reported. We never charge for our work and are completely self funded and non-profit making.
GHNZ (Ghost Hunters New Zealand) are the T.A.P.S Family representatives for New Zealand.
We are not out to disprove paranormal activity or manifestations. We, like many others, have a great interest in trying to explain the unexplained. There have been many cases of ghostly apparitions all over the world, many of which have been hoaxes. We want to be able to provide proof by means of genuine photographic, video and audio evidence.
We have a small team and are always looking for like minded, dedicated individuals. If you think you would like to join us or associate your team with ours, please visit the Link To Us page. NEED TO CONTACT GHNZ?

Ghost Hunters Auckland Needs You?The Auckland GHNZ crew is looking to fill 4 positions in the team. Auckland's Lead Investigator and team manager Dan is looking to rebuild his team with 2 Trainee investigators, 1 Researcher, and 1 Tech manager could one of these be you ???.
* The investigator in training requires an imagination, a keen eye for detail and of course a desire to investigate with an open mind. Scepticism is quite welcome! If applicants have digital cameras, audio recorders or any of our usual tools with them then that¢â¡Ás a big plus, but the equipment can be provided (mostly) for use during
investigations.
* Researcher, Dan is looking for someone who is able and willing to track down information about locations. If we have a client who wants us to be thorough in our investigation of their property, we need to have checked previous tenants, the buildings construction
Date, history and possible historical relevance (i.e.: previous reports, acts of violence or disturbances/deaths on site). Researchers need access to the internet and must be comfortable "cold calling" various authorities and individuals for
information.
* Tech manager is someone who has experience with DVR (Digital video recorder) systems and hopefully is comfortable setting up laptops and gear before investigations. Prior experience while valuable is not necessary as training can be given during investigations. The Tech Manager will be responsible for the gear during the investigation as well so someone who trustworthy or in a career that
Requires a level of culpability is quite important. Again, this is something that develops over time. GHNZ is a non profit organisation and we never charge for our services, this means these are voluntary positions and would be done out of a interest in the paranormal as we all do here at GHNZ
If you feel like one of these could be you, then please email Dan at dan@ghosthunters.co.nz and be ready to answer any questions he may have for you, and supply any info he may need. Thankyou, GHNZ HQ.
Ghost Hunters Wellington Needs You?The Wellington GHNZ Crew is looking to fill 2 positions in their team, could this be you? First they are looking for a person to take on the role of Wellington Case Manager. This means dealing with the emails and case loads, communicating with clients to gain knowledge of the type of haunting, activity, where and when, who is being affected and deciding on what case will be needing the team sent too, this means relaying the infomation onto the other 3 members of the team, meaning must be a like minded individual and a team player. GHNZ Wellington is also looking for a "Investigator In Training", This person will not need to know to much about investigating, however some knowledge of the paranormal will help, also who enjoys helping others and learning new skills and information. These people both, must also have a good understanding and love of the paranormal, will need great people and communication skills, some computer skills maybe required. GHNZ is a non profit organisation and we never charge for our services, this means these are voluntary positions and would be done out of a interest in the paranormal as we all do here at GHNZ If you feel like either of these could be you then please email Jay Gibbons at wellington@ghosthunters.co.nz and be ready to answer any questions he may have for you, and supply any info he may need.
Thankyou, GHNZ HQ.
...NEWS...
The website has finally been relocated to a different hosting solution, this means that i can now allocate the different group areas their own contact email addresses again and with the new hosting comes new functionality for each group to edit their own pages and add content. This will take pressure of HQ to concentrate on letting the site run its self and so it is less demanding on myself allowing me to be a father, husband and human who needs his own time after work to relax.
For along time now i have battled with illnesses which have stopped me from being able to administer my own group site which i spent so much time, sweat, blood, tears and money to keep going even through the worst of times in my own life. Thankfully i am through the other side and getting better, Dan and Jay, Andrew and the others have waited without complaining too much, and finally the site has been transfered so i will be creating the different group area pages and then leaving the content upto the group area leaders.
